Pumpkin Patch Party

We’re so excited that fall is here, the leaves and changing and the weather is cooling down… oh wait, we live in California and it’s 75 degrees and sunny! This spin on a California fall themed party is bright, playful and festive. With some inspo from our friends at Oh Happy Day, we add some pizzazz to our pumpkins and tied it all together with a few balloon statements.

Friends and family were welcomed with a cascading balloon garland in white, pink and confetti filled balloons. Pops of pumpkin orange and bright pink pulled everything together and gave some extra dimension with varying sizes.

We switched it up for the second balloon installation… keeping the scale a bit larger and mixing fun fronds with the balloons. This added a bit of California flare and brought some texture into the mix. Serving as the bar backdrop, and later the smash cake wall, we added a personal touch with a custom pink sign celebrating the birthday girl.

Long tables were adorned with ombre mini pumpkins for a burst of color. We chose a feminine ombre pink color palette and incorporated a few natural hues of orange and white to maintain a touch of fall. These colors were featured on the adorable smash cake as well, topped off with a gold “one” and a few little pumpkins to keep the theme going.

Tacos were served as guests sipped on tasty drinks from the build your own Margarita bar, complete with a variety of mixers, micheladas and garnishes. The dessert table featured the smash cake along with other sweet treats and a letter board sign reading “It takes a village!” to thank guests for their love and support to make it through year one.
